Father Christmas and his City Lifting elves have made an extra special delivery to Salisbury District Hospital, delivering a brand new MRI scanner.
Instead of a sleigh, Father Christmas drove HIS Demag AC 220-5 Crane and delivered the scanner through the roof into a brand new MRI scanner suite made possible by funds raised by The Stars Appeal the hospital charity.
It’s the result of a joint working project between the Stars Appeal and Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, with the first of two new MRI scanners arriving at the hospital. A second scanner, funded by the Stars Appeal, is due to arrive later in 2021.
Lendlease give recognition to City Lifting Team.
The Elephant Park construction site, run by Lendlease, runs a safety award recognition scheme and today I am delighted to announce that both Mark and Simon will be awarded limited edition pin badges in recognition of their contribution to the project.
These badges were handed out by a member of the Lendlease management team this morning, in front of a large crowd of their fellow workers. Mark and Simon were nominated for their positive attitude towards the site safety culture and of course their work during the last few months on a very challenging site where over 200 lifts have been completed without any incidents.
Simon Courtney had this to say;

On May 7th 2016, The Elephant Park construction site run by Leadlease runs a safety award recognition scheme. Mark and Simon two Members of our City Lifting Team was awarded with limited edition pin badges in recognition of their contribution to the project.
