At City Lifting we are known for our competence and reliability, and never turn a difficult job down if we believe we can solve the problem. We put these values to the test very recently whilst assisting maintenance of a historic government building, in which we supplied a carefully chosen crane solution that many others thought was too difficult. This very famous building that we worked with was the Old Admiralty Building, which lies between Whitehall, Horse Guards Parade and The Mall in the heart of London.
We are known for our vast knowledge and expertise at City Lifitng, which is exactly why we supplied a crane that was specifically bought for this type of London based work due to its narrow access capabilities and restricted height access advantages. Our Liebherr LTM 1050 City Crane, with has special configuration to lower the suspension and boom enabling us to travel in places usually inaccessible with a mobile crane of this lifting capacity – just like the narrow arch way at this building. As you will be able to see from the photos below, it really is unheard of to be able to fit through gaps like this… but of course City Lifting can!
